Dr. Mankad is internationally renowned management educator and an institution builder. He has more than four decades of experience in teaching, training, consulting and academic administration. He was the Director General of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. Under his leadership NMIMS became Deemed University and he was the First Vice Chancellor of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Deemed University. He also hold position of Vice Chancellor of Mody Institute of Technology & Science, Lakshmangarh. His consulting experience spreads over Project Financing, Organization Development, Executive Recruitment and Managing Family Businesses. He has conducted numerous training programmes for middle and senior management cadres. He has conducted research mainly in Economics, Business Environment, Leadership and Education Management. He has published several research papers in reputed journals refereed national and international journals. He is a recipient of Scholarships and Fellowships for his undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral studies. M.Sc. (Ag.), Ph.D., Post Doctorate (Oxford University, UK), Former Dean & Scientist, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun

Dr. Jha is former Dean & Scientist of Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He joined Scientist Pool of Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India in 1973 and worked in Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University, Jabalpur. In 1975 he joined Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He received Rockefeller Foundation Assistantship for Ph.D. and Commonwealth Scholarship for Post Doctorate at Oxford University. An internationally reputed academician and scientist, Dr. Jha served on various positions in Forest Research Institute. He served on the position of Dean of Forest Research Institute, Head of Forest Soil & Land Reclamation Division and Head of Ecology & Conservation Division of Forest Research Institute. He coordinated many research and action projects in Forest Research Institute and in other institutions in India and abroad. Important among them are UNDP-GEF project and NATCOM – UNFCCC project. He was Country Coordinator of European Union Project on Himalayan Degradation – a six country initiative (Norway, UK, Holland, India, Pakistan and Nepal) to find strategies to mitigate land degradation in Himalayas. Dr. Jha has worked on several important Committees. He was Vice President Academics of Forest and Environment Scientists Association. He is member of several professional bodies such as Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education promoted by Ministry of Forest & Environment, Government of India, Indian National Committee on Irrigation & Drainage of Ministry of Water Resources & Resources, Government of India, Alberta College of Art & Design, Academic Council of Forest Research Institute, Chief Technical Advisor of Soil & Ecology in Central Fuel Research Institute. He is Visited Professor in many countries such as UK, Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Australia, Tasmania, Canada and USA.

Dr. Singh is Professor of Economics in the Department of Humanities & Social Science at IIT Roorkee. His areas of interest are Agriculture and Rural Development, Labour Economics, Irrigation & Water Resource Economics and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) based Efficiency and Performance Assessment studies. He is the member of several professional societies such as life member of Indian Society of Labour Economics, life member of Indian Political Economy Association, life member of Indian Institute of Public Administration and member of Executive Committee of Indian Society of Labour Economics. He completed several sponsored projects and to name few are Decentralised Management for Rural Development – A Case Study of Hardwar District sponsored by University Grant Commission, Management of Rural Development Under Decentralised Framework sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education and Post WTO Era–Impact on Export Prospects of Livestock Products Sponsored by National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development. Besides publishing more than 50 research papers in national and international refereed journals he has also published a book titled “Planning and Management for Rural Development” published by Mittal Publications, New Delhi.

Dr. Mathur is Faculty of Economics in the Department of Humanities & Social Science at IIT Kanpur. He has 14 years of teaching and research experience at the Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi. He completed his M. Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the Centre for International Trade and Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He also worked as Fellow at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi  on deputation Jamia Millia Islamia University for two years. Presently he is working full-time permanent faculty at IIT Kanpur as Faculty of Economics. His area of interest lies in efficiency and productivity analysis, new trade and growth theories, convergence issues, TRIPS and other WTO issues. He has participated in various national and international conferences and has published more than 50 research papers in referred national and international journals. Dr. Mathur has taught papers like Pure Theory of International Trade, Quantitative Methods, Econometrics, International Finance and Banking, Microeconomics and Corporate Finance to the post graduate students. He has also taught National Income Accounting, Mathematical Methods of Economics, Microeconomics and Indian Economy at the graduate level. He also did research projects on WTO areas like TRIPS and Dispute Settlement Process. His main areas of research are Growth, Convergence and Time Series Econometrics. He has authored 4 books titled “Global Economic Trends and South Asia”, “Economic Growth and Convergence in Selected South Asian and East Asian Economies: A Data Envelopment Analysis”, “Perspective of Economic Growth in Selected South Asian and East Asian Countries” and “IT Success Model of India”.

Professor Rakesh Shrivastava is from 1977 PGDM batch of IIM Kolkata. He was awarded Roll of Honour in IIM Kolkata having second rank in class of 106 students. He has 33 years long standing career with corporate sector, Government and academics. His corporate experience has been concentrated in Information Technology and Management Information Systems, in both user and software companies, including banking software and software quality. In addition to this he has held responsibilities in functional areas in operations, in both manufacturing and services, and human resource including organizational renewal. He was responsible for all  information technology applications for the State of Madhya Pradesh and won national and international recognition for e- governance applications for Government of Madhya Pradesh. The project was amongst runners-up for Development Gateway Award and won several other prizes. In teaching his main areas of expertise are MIS, Operations, Production & Operations Management, ERP and Software Engineering & Software Development. In the coprate sector he has worked with Asian Paints as EDP Manager, Zenith Computers as General Manager, Citicorp Overseas Software Ltd. as Group Head, Webdunia as Vice President and Suvi Information Systems as Vice President. In public sector he served Government of Madhya Pradesh as Chief Executive Officer of MAPIT Department. In academics he worked with S P Jain Institute of Management & Research Mumbai and Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management Gwalior as Professor and Sanghvi Institute of Management & Science Indore as Director General. Presently he is working as Professor in Goa Institute of Management Goa.

Dr. Justin Paul started his career as Officer – Corporation Bank and moved to academics later. He has taught at South Indian Bank Staff Training College, Nagoya University of Commerce & Business, Japan, University of Puget Sound, St. Martyn’s University-USA and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and has been an invited speaker and trainer for South East Asian Bank-Mauritius, Al Omaniya Financial Services-Oman, Fudan University-Shanghai, University of San Francisco, SP Jain Institute- Dubai. He has served as Department Chairperson & as the youngest faculty at Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He has published 25 research papers in refereed journals and numerous articles in leading newspapers & has been Ph.D. thesis examiner to four universities. Dr. Justin Paul is known worldwide as an author of four text books “Business Environment” and “International Marketing” by McGraw-Hill, “Export-Import Management” by Oxford University Press and “International Business” by PHI. He has also co-authored a book Banking & Financial Services for Pearson Education and edited two books on Management Strategies and policies. He has also been a consultant to Tata Group, Government of India, and a few exporting/importing companies. Many firms such as Thomas Cook, ICICI Bank, Sony etc. have benefited from his corporate training programmes. He has also secured international level awards for Best Research Papers and Case studies, instituted by London School of Business, American Society for Competitiveness, Association of Indian Management Schools etc. He was a consistent rank holder at Bachelors and Masters Degree levels and was awarded UGC Fellowship for Ph.D. at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is also an alumnus of Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany.

Mr. Prabhat Labh has 17 years of cross-cultural experience in development sector across the continents and countries managing diverse portfolio. He is a multifaceted personality of development sector. As Program Manager in The MasterCard Foundation, he manages a portfolio of programs, supporting initiatives such as establishing green field microfinance institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, expansion of existing microfinance institutions and banks using branchless banking framework, institutional transformation of microfinance institutions, scaling up informal savings groups and their linkage to mobile payments and financial institutions, social performance management, financing water and sanitation solutions. He currently manages a program portfolio with total budget of US$ 56 million and target outreach of over 2 million clients. Previously, he was Senior Technical Advisor at CARE for Access Africa; a Pan-Africa microfinance initiative of CARE where he focused on piloting new approaches to technology enabled financial linkage. He also served as the Vice Chair of the Investment Committee of the Access Africa Fund, an investment fund set up by CARE and MicroVest to make debt and equity investments in emerging banks and microfinance providers in Sub-Saharan Africa with multiple partners across Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Malawi. He supported the creation of Access Africa Fund, a US$ 40 million fund set up by CARE, MicroVest and OPIC to stimulate investment in African microfinance. Prior to that, he managed a regional microfinance fund set up by CARE to respond to long term livelihoods needs of people affected by the Tsunami disaster in south Asia and another microfinance fund supported nascent MFIs in under-developed regions in India. with total funds under management of over US$ 3.75 million supporting over 45 emerging NGO- MFIs in India and Indonesia. As Manager- Microfinance Operations for CARE CASHE program in India; a US$ 16 million program funded by DFID, he managed the NGO-MFI partnership component of the program, with an annual grant budget of US$ 800,000 and investment budget of US$ 2.50 million, supporting 34 NGO-MFIs across different parts of India. He also worked with Axis Bank as Deputy Manager-Credit, Faculty at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India Ahmedabad and Krishi Vigyan Kendra Udaipur, He has published articles in leading journals and magazines such as Enterprise Development and Microfinance Journal, HumanScape, Journal of Entrepreneurship and SEEP Network.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma is Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science in Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar was born and brought up in Pilkhuwa, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh in a Gaur Brahmin family. He is the second among four brothers and a sister. His father Dr. Chandra Pal Sharma was Professor in R.S.S. Degree College, Pilkhuwa affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The family has contributed in education sector in India significantly as out of 4 brothers 3 are Professors. His father and all the brothers have developed good students all over India. Dr. Sharma has a throughout first class career and has been a National Merit Scholarship holder. He has been teaching Graduate, Post Graduate and M. Phil. classes for last more than twenty five years. He has supervised 7 Ph.D. and 24 M.Phil. research scholars and about 15 are working under his supervision. He has published 50 research papers, 15 reviews, 42 articles, 9 edited and authored books and 1 monograph. Dr. Sharma has delivered Keynote, Inaugural and Valedictory addresses and Special Lectures in 64 seminars, conferences, refresher courses and orientation programmes throughout the country. He is associated with 10 professional bodies of the subject and 40 universities of different States in India in various capacities. His main areas of interest are political sociology, ancient Indian polity and Indian political system. A widely travelled academician, Dr. Sharma also has an excellent knowledge of Sanskrit. Dr. Singh has more than two decades of teaching, research, training, consulting and project management experience. His main areas of interest and expertise are Microfinance, Social Entrepreneurship, NGO Management, Public Policy and Business Environment. He has worked with reputed management / sectoral institutions like; Institute of Health Management Research Jaipur (Research Officer), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai (Associate Professor), Entrepreneurship Development of India Ahmedabad (Professor) and ICFAI Business School Gurgaon (Professor & Advisor Student Council). He has developed PGDM and MBA Programmes in Sanghvi and Chameli Devi Groups of Institutions in Indore (Director). He is the member of several professional and academic bodies. He has presented many research papers in national and international seminars / conferences in India and abroad. He has published more than 100 research papers, cases, case-lets, articles, book reviews in refereed national and international journals, edited books, conference proceedings and newspapers besides co-authored a book titled “Promoting Small and Micro-Enterprises Through Training Interventions: The Indian Experience” (ICIMOD, Kathmandu, 1999) and authored another two books titled “Dimensions of Development Policy and Governance” (Northern Book Centre, New Delhi, 2013) and “Perspectives on Microfinance, Entrepreneurship and Social Development” (Northern Book Centre, New Delhi, 2013). His main areas of training are micro-enterprise, microfinance, micro-insurance, marketing of rural products and financial management & accounting system. He has developed and conducted Faculty Development Programmes in social sciences and management education on Research Methodology, Teaching Excellence, Case Based Pedagogy and Writing and Publishing Research Documents. He also conducts workshops on Non-Fiction Writing for aspiring writers and on Motivation for students and corporate executives. Looking to his services in development sector by using tools and techniques of management education, he was conferred on ‘Best Teacher of Management Award’ by Bombay Management Association. Some of the countries visited by him are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, Hungary, Netherlands and Sweden.
